Changing Places Facility – we have two Changing Places rooms, one adjacent to the management suite and the other next to the main ground floor toilets.
The facilities are open in line with the opening hours of the centre and include:
- Changing Bench – adult sized and height adjustable
- Hoist – ceiling track hoist designed to be used with loop attachment slings
- Toilet – the toilet has room either side for carers to support
- Sink – height adjustable
- All our disabled toilet facilities in Hull now have low level mirrors and shelves/hooks for customers who need STOMA assistance.
Accessible Toilets – in addition to the Changing Places we have 4 other specific disabled-friendly toilet rooms (3 on the ground floor and one with the 1st floor toilet facilities) which are secured with a RADAR key and offer all the same amenities as the Changing Places, except they do not have hoists.
